About Me
As a child and a young single woman I always had a paintbrush in my hand. I started painting again after I retired from work, and have become a recognised member of my local art society. I’ve also entered my work into various exhibitions, winning a number of awards from The Rochester and West Kent Art Society, including:
-A Special Mention for a Collection of 4 paintings
-2nd place for my piece, Copper Pots (2019)
-2nd place for my piece, White Rose (2022)
-My piece, Kingfisher, was voted top choice (by members) for the front page of the Rochester and West Kent Art Society’s 2023 calendar.
-One of my paintings has been featured each year for the past 4 years consecutively in this calendar.
